In a small village in the north of Portugal, Agostinho endures the imprisonment of his routine. One day, he suffers a strange seizure leaving the factory where he works at the night shift.

Maria spends her days working at her step family’s noisy metal factory. Crushed by the violence of men, she also must take care of her both depressive sister-in-law and niece. A revolution starts boiling inside her.
